What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you on your next request. "Local storage" is a similar mechanism, except that the data stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, from which countries and devices. IP addresses are anonymised and Google Consent Mode is used, so nothing is loaded before you accept. Google's own notice is at policies.google.com.

Embedded videos
Films of the rally are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube sets its own cookies only when you press play; until then the page shows just a preview image, which is loaded from Google's servers (i.ytimg.com) when the page opens. Local storage
- Entry-form draft — while you fill in the entry form, your answers (without photos) are kept in your browser so you can continue later. They are removed when you submit or clear your browser data.
- Admin preferences — organisers' display settings in the admin area (for example which table columns are shown).
Managing your choices
You decide about analytics cookies when you first visit, and you can reopen that choice at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings; blocking the necessary ones will stop parts of the site working.
